The Holidays are coming already?!

Here we are in November, past mid-terms for David, 6 more weeks till we go to Anchorage for Christmas...yay! I started my job as a nurse at a Pediatric clinic a few weeks ago and am really liking it so far. David is staying very busy with school and his teacher assistant jobs (3 in all). Mason is crawling at the speed of light, very efficiently pulling himself up onto every thing, and maneuvering his way around standing up...several people have told us we have our hands full with what appears to be a soon-to-be early walker! We were the Rubble family (from the cartoon, The Flintstones): Barney, Betty, and Bam-Bam for Halloween. I had to get creative and sew the costumes by hand, but they turned out good enough to be able to tell what we were dressed as. We are really missing going to the BYU football games (or at least being able to watch them on the TV), but we like it here in Virginia and have taken advantage of a couple of free days to sight see in D.C. The most recent event in our lives was Mason's hospilization this last week. He's had a couple of ear infections on top of what the doctor is thinking was the flu. He tested negative for RSV, but had all the symptoms. So Mason was a real trooper and spent the last three days in the hospital getting treated for wheezing, difficulty breathing, mucos, and low oxygen..all the while smiling most of the time! He is so sweet. We're looking forward to the holidays and wish we could see everyone, especially this time of year, but our thoughts and prayers are with you all!
