Spring time...bring on the shorts!

We are so excited for spring! Mason's and my trip to Utah was great. It was nice seeing everyone and Mason got all the attention he could ever dream of. Stephanie's wedding was beautiful, and as cute as Mason was in his tux, he didn't like being in it as much as everyone else did. He had a birthday party a few days early with grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles, with cake, song, and presents. The cake really was not his favorite, but he got some fun toys, and with his short attention span, I had to open most of the presents. Everything was so cute though. David had to stay home due to classes, but he was able to do a little extra sight seeing Washington (with out having to drag Mason and I everywhere!). So on Mason's real birthday, we just sang him a few birthday songs, which he loved. His favorite thing about family home evening is when David and I sing together. You can tell by the look on his face that it's the coolest thing, although I'm sure someday he'll think it's torture, but for now its cute! Today is Mason's first day this Spring/Summer to where shorts so we are excited! We have pool toys and little swimmer diapers ready to go play in the pools! David is pretty overwhelmed with this second half of the term, but only 5 weeks or so left. He's been applying for internships this summer so we're crossing our fingers that something good turns out there. We hope everyone has a great Easter and, like Christmas, takes time to focus on the real reason for celebration.
